This strong, proud, peasant woman left many unwelcome marks on people around her but she loved me.  She raised me and gave me the strength of character that has always ensured that I follow the banner of &#8216;I&#8217; with complete integrity if not always with love.<br \/>\nShe passed away in our home in Serbia in early 1998.  By the time I returned home in June 1998 from Australia (after 12 years in Australia), weeds had taken to the crusty earth of her grave.
