    As time continues we are forced to shape our often
    \ndifferent personalities into the shape of one. In this
    \npiece A man searches for himself, but is blocked by
    \nthe space between the video’s frames. Only in your
    \nmind’s eye can he really find himself. Physically the
    \ntwo images of the man are never really together. In
    \nthis modern day thaumatrope two stop motion films were
    \ninterlaced frame-by-frame playing with the persistence
    \nof vision or the eyes’ ability to preserve an image
    \nfor roughly 1\/20 of a second after the picture is
    \nremoved. So the only time the man can really find
    \nhimself is in our minds.<\/p>\n

    “Finding Himself In A Thaumatrope” A Stop Motion Film
    \nthat deals with the science behind a spinning marvel
    \nmade in the 1820’s this object was a disk with two
    \nimages on it, For example a bird on one side and a
    \ncage on the other, when you spun the disk the images
    \nbecame one (a bird in a cage) What I have done is
    \nshoot 2 stop motion films in the same location and
    \ninterlace every picture by switching the two every
    \nframe while editing, As the length of the photos get
    \nshorter the eye blends the two together.<\/p>\n
