The loop establishes visual relationships between the modernist grid and these technological phenomena\u2014systems and technological objects become the agents of performing order. Unable to maintain stability within the regimented structure of the grid, the collective performance collapses, only to be reintroduced into the system by the only agent of order it knows\u2014the camera.
