During my stay around the mythical Marsfj\u00e4ll (alps) I was lucky to meet a few people, such as Elsa, a 78 year-old Sami woman who greatly shared her memories of Sami storytelling and their Yoiks with me. I got invited to her outmoded but homely habitat where she told me stories of her Reindeer herding background, serving me Reindeer meat while she tell tales and sing.<br \/>\nIt gives the viewer an intimate and extraordinary moment with a lost art-inherited storytelling about the lives of your relatives, and original singing\/Yoiking from Scandinavia\u2019s indigenous Sami-people.<\/p>\n<p>This video participates in<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/coff.newmediafest.org\/index4.html\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>CologneOFF IV &#8211; Here We Are!<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\n4th edittion of Cologne Online Film Festival 2008<br \/>\nOFF program<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Linda Persson (Sweden) biography . .
