synopsis
The term Slapstick (literally blow with a stick) is attached by its history at Hollywood cinema burlesque. Both films CHIENN.AVI and 2CHIENN.AVI, shot in Paris, which compose the video SLAPSTICK SOCIAL combine the burlesque with the cruelty of certain social realities. But it is never a matter of fiction nor a documentary film. It is rather to question the position of the viewer in front of the human misery and its ability to act. The moments of violences, inertia, falling and put in peril of his body, imbalances of this action as simple as the fact of walking created the tempo of this film like a social choreographed and rejects any sentimentality.
