Video title:
Via Crucis, 2008, 4:00

synopsis
“Via Crucis” is a reflection on current religious and political world affairs. This video art piece challenges the different Christian, Jewish and Islamic positions. Resembling medieval Catholic representations of the Stations of the Cross, the images depict religious iconic images of Christ during his martyrdom with an accompanying surround sound that includes gospel lyrics and war sounds.

“If the Messiah comes or returns,
with His army with the Pope,
Would He fight?
Would He oppress?
Would He hunt Bin Laden?
Help the Israelis overtake the Holy Land?
Abandon those who love Mohammed?
Are you the Antichrist?”
