Real Dream[e]scape, (Greece-2004) 1.15
“Real Dream[e]scape” criticizes the fluidity of the “reality” that surrounds us. Real space and television space, video, cinema, video games, 3D productions and virtual reality are mixed and hard to separate. The video begins with a “realistic” 3D simulation of the Earth, drowning in itself. In the second part, images of reality are paradoxically conceived as a dream, seeming unreal and fake, like an imitation.
