    Title: Play Dead
    2009, 1:00
“A work on “memory” – in childhood we all played at being dead,a macabre game, uniting children of all cultures and throughout history a morbid fascination with death has held us in rapture. Current footage of the artist’s children at play, mutated, then broken down using effects, then breaking it down further so that only fragments of time remain. Trying to show the technological process behind the rendered frames, making it more real than the actions of those involved.Flickering and loops making now feel like then, time designated by striated bands of fractal clouds.Light is memory unwinding.”
