“Nowhere To Go” – a series of 10 large cutout drawings executed between 1990-1993 based on one family’s Holocaust experience. I collaborated on these works with my father who passed away in l993. He named the series NOWHERE TO GO because all efforts to get his parents out of Germany were to no avail. This haunted him for his entire life.

Marlene Dietrich singing Pete Seeger’s moving anti-war song Where Have All the Flowers Gone, which is the link between the personal and political.
